Best Helicopter Tours Oahu - anyone hear of Paradise Helicopters?

Smoochy asked:

Looking for a 60 min tour and most have the same itinerary so I guess I’m looking for reviews of the tour companies on Oahu? I don’t even know what you would review them on…cleanliness? friendliness? helpfullness (telling you along the way what you are seeing)? Whatever else you can think of.

We are considering Paradise Helicopters because they leave from Turtle Bay and that is where we are staying. Anyone have an opinion of them? Anyone know if there are discounts for Paradise Helicopters and how I can get them?

Side note: anyone have a review/opinion of Turtle Bay Resort? I hope it’s nice. We spent quite a bit to celebrate my 35th b-day there!

Thanks!!

I’ve heard good things about Blue Hawaiian Helicopter tours, but not sure if they fly in the Turtle Bay area. Here is a site with listings and helpful information on Helicopter tours for each island of Hawaii. I’ve included for you the link for Oahu since that is the island Turtle Bay is on.

Turtle Bay is nice - very remote and very peaceful. Beautiful scenery. My business partner spent his last birthday there, and some friends of ours were married there.

Any helicopter tour that doesn’t charge extra to bring you back alive is a good helicopter tour

I have personally not only sold Paradise Helicopter tours. But have also enjoy a couple of the trips they offer.
I have not had a single person who has done say anything but great words for them.

I only suggest you do your tour early in the morning. Reason? It can get very cloudy later in the day. You might miss out on seeing some of the more incredible sights.

Also they fly 6 passenger choppers. Be sure to ask for the front seat and one side window.

Turtle Bay Resort is wonderful. Only big draw back? It is away from anything. But you well be only a few minutes from the Polynesian Cultural Center. And a number of stores and restaurants.
If you do not rent a car, the Oahu Bus (public bus line) comes right in to the Turtle Bay Resort, It can take you anywhere you want to go just about on Oahu. Check it out, sure beats the traffic and lack of parking at some places.
