I would recommend Kailua (the neighborhood by Kailua Beach Park). Kane&#039;ohe is right next door too, next to the Marine Corps Base. Good area to live in!</description>

Kailua area
the views and beaches  are one of the best on Oahu and less touristy than Waikiki.
Also the &quot;north shore &quot;     the town is called Haleiwa.  Many cool, laid back people    They love the easy going and the country aspects ...  quaint shops/ very local.   best waves in the world !
Very friendly people. Grinds (food) is great &amp; non pretencious.

That is some question. I&#039;ve lived in Oahu for a few years and can recommend 2 areas. Haleiwa is a great town in the North Shore to relax, lay back and enjoy the good ness of life and that Oahu has to off. I use to visit the town a lot and the blend of people here is very interesting. The other area recommended for what you are looking for is probably Kailua. Much more laid back than Haleiwa and yet such a cool place to be.</description>
